India’s first rap artiste Baba Sehgal will be seen in a Kannada film for the first time in Prithvi. The track is being dubbed as a ‘male item number’.The singer who had sung his first Kannada film song – a rap number – for Prithvi three months ago will visit Bengalooru shortly for the shoot. Kabir Raj has composed the music for the film. He will seen dancing to his track at the Innovative Film City.
It seems the producer was keen on getting Baba Sehgal for the film as he could not find an artiste for the role. The film features upcoming artistes Dilip Pai and Nisha Shetty in the lead roles.
Though this is his first Kannada film song, Baba Sehgal is active in Telugu films by lending voice to popular tracks in Adhurs and Arya-2.
